Leave the Leaves!!As autumn leaves start to fall, consider skipping curbside pickup and recycling them in your yard instead! By shredding leaves with a lawnmower and leaving them to decompose, you’re enriching your soil naturally, supporting beneficial soil organisms, and helping prevent pollution from storm drain clogs. Use shredded leaves as mulch for garden beds, compost them for spring gardening, or spread them on your lawn for added nutrients. Simple, eco-friendly, and great for local waterways—recycling your leaves is a small change with a big impact!
