Alex Weber
Stormwater Inspector

As a stormwater inspector, Alex conducts construction site sediment and erosion control inspections and post-construction stormwater inspections, perform pollution prevention inspections for maintenance facilities, and stormwater outfall monitoring. He holds preconstruction and progress meetings with contractors and community officials and provide technical assistance for residents and community personnel relating to drainage and stormwater management. Alex is a Certified Erosion, Sediment, & Storm Water Inspector (CESSWI) and a Qualified Compliance Inspector of Stormwater (QCIS).

Alex received a bachelor’s degree in environmental science from the University of Akron in 2019. He is a father of two girls, Emery and Tatum, a native of summit county, an avid fisherman and a Lake Erie charter captain.

Alex’s Favorite stormwater Best Management Practice (BMP) are bioretention cells. He believes they are aesthetically pleasing with many ecological benefits, and they provide a versatile solution to contain and treat stormwater runoff.
