The programs of the Summit SWCD are overseen by a five-member Board of Supervisors who are publicly elected for three-year terms. These individuals are tasked with shaping the direction of the District's conservation priorities and do so as volunteers, without receiving any financial compensation. Annual elections are held for open positions and Summit county residents over the age of 18 are eligible to participate in these elections.

Board MeetingsSummit SWCD's Board of Supervisors meets monthly to discuss District matters and conservation needs. These meeting are free and open to the public and begin promptly at 4pm.
Members of the public must be present in-person or connected to the meeting by phone at the time the Board Chair recognizes visitors in order to make a public comment at the meeting. 2024 Meeting Dates
