Summit SWCD is seeking a Stormwater Inspector!
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include:
•Performing inspections on regulated construction sites to ensure compliance with the approved plans, State, County and local regulations.
•Performing inspections on post construction stormwater control measures.
•Performing dry weather screening inspections on storm sewer outfalls.
•Performing pollution prevention and good housekeeping inspections on municipal owned facilities.
•Investigating complaints and provide reports based on observations and findings.
•Providing reports and guidance related to the stormwater program to our stormwater program stakeholders.

Stormwater Inspector
The Stormwater Inspector provides surface water management assistance by performing inspections and providing guidance to ensure compliance related to State, County, and local community codes.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
•Perform inspections on regulated construction sites to ensure compliance with the approved plans, State, County and local regulations.
•Perform inspections on post construction stormwater control measures.
•Perform dry weather screening inspections on storm sewer outfalls.
•Perform pollution prevention and good housekeeping inspections on municipal owned facilities.
•Investigate complaints and provide reports based on observations and findings.
•Provide reports and guidance related to the stormwater program to our stormwater program stakeholders.
Qualifications:
An associate degree in conservation, natural resources, environmental science, construction science or other related fields, or a combination of education and work-related experience. Computer skills, including operation of Microsoft Office Suite program, graphic and website design and social media platforms are necessary. Successful applicants must possess a valid Ohio driver’s license and will be required to successfully pass all pre-employment background checks and substance abuse screening.
Salary Range and Benefits:
•This is a full-time permanent position.
•Salary commensurate with experience.
