Paddle the Lakes Challenge

The Paddle the Lakes Challenge is an adventure that encourages everyone to explore the beauty of the Portage Lakes!

Whether it's kayaking, canoeing, paddle boarding, fishing, or swimming - get out there and experience all that the Portage Lakes have to offer! More than 300,000 people visit the Portage Lakes each year, and you should be one of them. By spending time on the water, you're not only making memories but also becoming a steward of the lakes and the watershed that connects them.

To Participate:

  1. Complete a water activity on at least five different lakes within the Portage Lakes! The map below can help you plan out your activities.
  2. After your visits, click the button below to fill out the form and tell us all about your Portage Lakes adventures!
  3. Head to the Portage Lakes Library to earn an exclusive sticker commemorating your time!
