Ali Clark
Seasonal Conservationist

Picture
Ali Clark joined SSWCD in May 2026 as the Seasonal Conservationist, where she conducts stream sampling and assists in media creation and public outreach. Ali comes to SSWCD after recently graduating from Kent State University in May 2026, receiving her Bachelor of Science in Environmental and Conservation Biology. Before joining SSWCD, she worked as a Seasonal Education Naturalist for Stark County Park District, where she planned and lead outdoor education programs through guided hikes and interactive displays. Ali plans on attending Kent State University again in Fall 2027 to pursue her PhD in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology. When not working, Ali enjoys wildlife photography, yoga, hiking, traveling, and foraging.

Ali’s favorite Best Management Practice (BMP) are rain gardens because they are great at filtering pollutants, managing runoff, and controlling erosion. They also create beautiful spaces full of diverse plants that provide essential resources to native pollinators!
